Felt the Nation: S1

Felt the Nation is a witty political newscast run by a team of passionate puppets. Season 1 aired during the summer of 2024, leading up to the general election. I was the producer and art director for the show—which consisted of building all branding, leading and creating episodic motion graphics, and acting as producer throughout the entire process.

Hello, I'm Aloha. If you're wondering: yes, that is my real name. I'm a video and motion graphics producer with over 5 years of experience editing, animating, writing, and filming. 

 

I'm a queer Filipino-American designer based in the Washington, D.C. area. My work is fueled by a desire to uplift marginalized voices, especially those within LGBTQ+ and Asian-American communities. I've worked in politics both in-house and freelance for years, with my work shared by the likes of President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and more. I'm a graduate of MIHI x A24's Beyond the Screen program, and my college documentary work has won several awards. 

 

My curiosity for the creative strays beyond design—on weekends, catch me knitting, drawing comics, molding poorly made clay Totoros, and listening to Dungeons & Dragons podcasts. ​
